Hi Nigel - after having bilateral anterior surgery, the only issue I still have is nerve damage in the outer side of quad muscles from the knee, to three quarters of the way up towards the hips. It doesn't impair function but it does feel somewhat strange not having any feeling on the part of the legs. Hip function is 100%.
